Humboldt Beer Week At Mad River Brewery

It's HUMBOLDT BEER WEEK - April 1st - 10th
4/1: We will be releasing the collaboration beer that all the brewers made (which I hear is a dry imperial stout with cocoa nibs on nitro!!) In addition to that, we thought we'd play around since it's April Fools and offer up a few "mystery brews" on tap (you know, like the "mystery shots" bars offer in brown paper bags). Think of this like a mini StrangeBrew. They'll be cheap and fun and we'll probably have a contest to see if you can guess what they are. Also, Ultra Secret (funky jazz improv band) plays here from 6-8:30.
4/2: Humboldt Brownie release day!! This beer won us a silver medal at 2015 Great American Beer Festival. We'll be selling fresh Beer-Kissed brownies from the kitchen for dessert. And in honor of the beer's cute pin-uppy label, we'll have a "Pints and Pin-ups" night. Local pin-up girls will be here from 5-8 pm and for a small donation you can get pictures with them. All pin-up donations from the evening will go to Companion Animal Foundation. CAF might be bringing a few puppies for a Puppy Kisses Booth. *squeeeeeee* The Yokels play rockabilly soul from 6-8:30.
4/3: Pajama Jammy Jam. Spend the day at the Tap Room in your PJs while you recover from the Humboldt Homebrew Festival and the exciting evening with the all the pretty ladies. Our kitchen will serve breakfast ALL DAY: even for dinner!!
4/4: 80s Night with The UnderCovers! Wear 80s gear to the Tap room and get a free Jamaica Red pint glass. The band plays 80s jams from 6-8:30.
4/5: Travelling folk/blues musician Phil King plays from 6-8:30
4/6: Pints for Non-Profits for Redwood Empire BMX. $1 from every pint sold all day will go towards this great local group. They will have a DJ from 6-8:30, as well as a silent auction and bake sale.
4/7: It's National Beer Day! We'll have Beer Trivia from 5-6pm, and fiddle tunes from Blake Ritter & Friends from 6-8:30.
4/8: It's Mad River Brewing Company's featured night during HBW! We have a beer/cheese pairing with Cypress Grove on tap for you. Plus a special Cask Night! AND if you wear MRBCo gear you get $1 off your beer--even Hoppy Hour-priced beers!! Local rock favorites Doug Fir and the 4x4's play from 6-8:30pm.
4/9: Scrap Humboldt will be here from 1-3 pm showing folks how to upcycle our bottlecaps into something fabulous. $5 donation to them gets you a special handcrafted item (or two) to take home!! Local country supergroup the Honky Tonk Detours play from 6-8:30pm.
4/10: We end HBW with Bloody Beer Day. Yum!
