Member Spotlight: Redwood Curtain
Redwood Curtain Brewing Company produces close to 2,000 barrels of handcrafted artisanal ales a year. Founded in 2010 by Drake and Amanda Mollberg, “premium domestic and imported malts/hops, Humboldt County water, and unique yeast strains” come together to create authentic ales and lagers for beer lovers of all types. Drake and Amanda are here to tell us more.
How and when did you get into your line of work?
“We have wanted to brew and open a brewery since high school. We decided to open in Arcata in 2010, as we had settled our personal life here and there was not a brewery in town.”
Why Humboldt?
“What can we say? It is quiet, friendly, beautiful, fun and has an engaging community.”
Where can we find your products?
“Throughout Humboldt County, North and East Bay area. They can be found on our website under distribution.”
Not only found in hundreds of restaurants, bars, and breweries, Redwood Curtain Brewing Company has two excellent locations in Arcata and Eureka respectively. Hosting shuffleboard and cornhole tournaments, bingo and trivia nights, fundraising events and more, you can count on an engaging experience while to go alongside some excellent beers.
